When will the notfound project be available in my country?
At the moment, the application mainly shows missing children in Belgium, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Spain and the UK. The US and Canada will follow later. These reports will be updated automatically, so there is no need to install them again later. For the latest news on when NotFound.org will be available in your country, please follow us on

How can I change the language setting on the application?
At present, the descriptions are only available in Dutch & French. We are in the process of translating them into other languages, including English. The correct language will automatically show in the Missing Child bulletin based on the users’ browser settings. And if not available, we will show English by default. If you want to set the application in one language, you select "LANG=FR" or LANG=NL" in the code.
Why do I sometimes see older people in the missing children application?
These are what we refer to as 'cold cases', that is to say children who have been missing for years. With aging software, we try to give an impression of how the person would look like now.
Is there a public API available?
We do not offer a public API yet. This is something that we are still in the process of researching. At the moment, you can add the Missing Kids report to your website only by using the iframe, or by replacing the entire 404 page.
Are there other themes available?
We only provide 1 theme for the time being. We hope to add country-specific themes in the near future.
Does NotFound.org support HTTPS?
The NotFound.org Service supports HTTPS.
My country is not listed. Does it make sense to install Notfound on my website?
If your country is not listed NotFound.org will show missing children from other countries on your 404 pages. So, you can already implement the code on your site. As soon as the NotFound.org initiative will be available in your country, the system will be able to determine the location and adapt it accordingly.
